Cancer Cell Line Oncogene Signature and Drug Sensitivity page

This app allows users to pick any of the hundreds of cell lines in the database and quickly see the Oncogene Signatures for that cell line.   There are three tabs shown for three different types of Oncogene Signatures.  Note that the parameters that are set by default in this tool are modifiable.  Users can adjust the filters for copy number amplification and/or gene expression to view different levels of genomic alterations in the signatures.

One can quickly view the relative sensitivities of hundreds of targeted drugs to cell lines of interest.  Click on the “Drug Sensitivity” radio button to see the sensitivities of that cell line to hundreds of targeted drugs rank ordered by drug sensitivity.  The default setting for drug sensitivity is a Z-score of -1.5 or less.  The lower the Z-score, the more sensitive the cell line is to the drug of interest.  As indicated above, the Z-scores can be modified. There are three tabs for drug Sensitivity: Overall Drug Sensitivity refers to any drugs that the cells were sensitive too.  The Druggable Essential genes refers to the drugs that target a gene that was found to be a hit on one of the essentiality screens.  The Druggable Oncogenes tab lists the genes that were genomically altered and targeted by a drug to which the cells are sensitive to.
