In the pages below, we present the results of our genome-scale RNAi drop-out screen that we performed in the SUM-52 cells. The genes that were “hits” in the screen are those genes that, when reduced in expression, had a significant negative effect on the growth or survival of these cells. By mapping the hit genes to the KEGG pathways, it is possible to directly observe the pathways and biological processes that play functional roles in the biology of these breast cancer cells.
