To use the app, simply type in the official gene symbol for your gene of interest and see the available data on the essentiality of that gene derived either from CRISPR or RNAi based screens, as well as the copy number and expression levels for the gene of interest in any cell line. If the gene has undergone point mutations that have been found to be recurrent in the COSMIC database, that data will be presented as well. To see the gene data for a particular cancer type, type that in the search box. All columns are clickable allowing you to see the data in any order you wish. You can also search for any individual cell line simply by typing the name of the cell line in the search box.
