The Biology of Cancer: A course for everyone

Sextant Oncology is dedicated to empowering those affected by cancer—whether as patients, family members, or friends—with the knowledge they need to understand the disease. We also provide specialized resources for students from high school to the post-graduate level who seek a deeper mastery of cancer biology.

To support this mission, I have developed our foundational course: The Biology of Cancer: A Course for Everyone. Hosted on the Thinkific platform, the course includes a free introductory video to get you started. You can also preview the introduction on our YouTube page.

I have also recently published a book titled: Using Functional Genomics and Artificial Intelligence to Reverse Engineer Human Cancer Cells.  The book is available through Cambridge Scholars Publishing (recommended) or on Amazon.  This book takes a basic understanding of cancer biology as a starting point for a deeper dive into how modern genomics and AI methods can be used to predict how individual patients will respond to the newest targeted cancer drugs.  Click on the title above to get a preview on the content of this book.
